A mastopexy is a breast uplift with reshaping. The breasts get lower or droop with age, post pregnancy or post weight loss. For some, the breasts are low from the outset. Reshaping the breasts involves positioning the nipple in a new higher position, removing the excess skin and reshaping the breast tissue around the new nipple position. It does not alter the volume of the breast.
